Over the past twelve years, I have worked with governments, bilateral and multilateral organizations, foundations, NGOs, and policy institutes as a senior monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning (MERL) expert. I have led global and country-level assignments, with particular experience in Sub-Saharan Africa.
My areas of expertise are education, civil society, adolescent education and health interventions, gender, and global governance of education, as well as the generation of evidence and facilitation of co-created learning for program adaptation. I have led and conducted assignments drawing on mixed-methods, longitudinal, and quasi-experimental designs; impact, program, and theory-based evaluations; political economy analyses; and qualitative and participatory methods. I also specialize in ethical and context-sensitive data collection with children, adolescents, and vulnerable groups.
I have conducted extensive in-person and remote data collection at the global level and country-level, including with stakeholders in countries including Bangladesh, Benin, Bolivia, Burundi, Cambodia, Chad, DRC, Egypt, The Gambia, Ghana, Honduras, Kenya, Lao PDR, Lesotho, Liberia, Malawi, Marshall Islands, Mozambique, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Rwanda, Senegal, South Africa, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Tanzania, Tajikistan, Timor-Leste, and Uganda, among others.
